Call for Papers

SPECIAL EDITIONS: TOWARDS THE 11TH YEAR ANNIVERSARY OF AFR. J. COMP. & ICT
In 2018, African Journal of Computing & ICT, ISSN 2006-1781, is 11 years, having been published since 2008. As the journal is in the second decade of publishing, papers are currently being received for the March 2018 edition.

Papers may be submitted to the Editorial Office at: submissions@afrjcict.net; submissions.afrjcict@gmail.com; oluwade@sigmaxi.net; bamidele@aims.ac.za.

Although there is no deadline for submission to the journal, papers that are not received on time will be considered for other editions. Thank you.
Papers for consideration for publication in African Journal of Computing & ICT, ISSN 2006 – 1781, are invited which contain substantial ideas that have the potential of aiding inventions or a technological breakthrough for general and specialized use .The Journal mainly publishes online editions, and print editions in restricted quantities. Four editions are normally published every year. Special editions are published as the need arises. ​​
The journal especially welcomes papers focussing on novel application of computing and ICT to the solution of challenges and peculiarities of the African continent, nay, under-developed world. Examples of such themes are application of discrete computing to Ifa Divination (in African Traditional Religion), application of ICT to solve epileptic electric power supply, harnessing of solar and alternative power and effective biometric solution to identity card management. Others include cybertheft, insecurity (terrorism, kidnapping etc),  ICT application to paternity/maternity test issues (DNA Computing) etc.
In general, papers are solicited from all areas of computer science and information and communication technology, including but not limited to, the following themes:
