PUBLIC ALERT! PUBLIC ALERT! PUBLIC ALERT!
The Editor-in-Chief of this journal will like to draw the attention of our teeming patrons that a case of almost 100% plagiarism of our published paper by another journal has been detected. The only significant changes made in the original paper are (i) Figure numbers were changed (ii) The list of references was re-arranged such that the surname of an author comes first, unlike the original paper where initials of an author come first. Even the title of paper appears exactly as it is in the plagiarized paper!
In September 2020, the journal was notified by the original authors of the plagiarized paper about the above breach of intellectual norm. Subsequently, the attention of the journal which plagiarized the paper (i.e. publisher and editor-in-chief) was drawn twice to this infraction. So also were the authors and Management of the institution where the culprits are affiliated to. However, there was no single response to our complaints, not even an acknowledgement!
We are hereby publishing detailed information on the infraction vis-a-vis breach of intellectual property. We wish to say that retractionwatch.com has been notified about our observation.
